From Cairo by car
Alexandria is roughly 220 km from Cairo on the Desert Road. Once in the city, head east to Montaza, then Maamoura.
Within Alexandria
Take an Abu Qir-bound microbus along the Corniche and ask for Maamoura, or take a taxi to the Maamoura Beach gate.
By air
The nearest airport is Borg El Arab International (HBE), about 65 km from Maamoura.
